Post 1: Skill

In order to help us with our exam, we need to understand the definition of the word 'Skill' so that it can be related back to our exam.

My personal definition of a 'Skill' refers to a persons' ability in whatever they do.Some people may have a better ability in what they do rather than another person.
This is acquired or developed through training or simply experience. This relates to our further projects as we will need to have skills in filming etc, the more you practice the better you will get.
There are different types of skills, one example is an intelligence skill, and this is of a worker's expertise, highly trained & wages. Skilled workers are generally more trained, higher paid, and have more responsibilities than unskilled workers.
By doing this, I think it will help my media production in the future as I will be able to apply my own skills that  I should be using, and ones which I need to develop, such as it being in the edit suite or drawing up a shot list.
Good skills in my media production will expand my knowledge and will help me gain a better grade for the coursework.
