Question 2 - How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?

The second evaluation question was looking at two ancillary texts, of which these were my postcard and short film review page. I then had to evaluate how effective it was with Fleeting. I then decided to ask my audience on their thoughts on how my ancillary texts were effective of which I recorded with a Flip Video camera. 


Postcard Feedback

Throughout the Pre-Production stage, I created postcard designs that I made to get feedback on so that it would help me decide on what final postcard design I wanted. After I got feedback on my designs and I had my chosen final design, I created it and then recorded my audience on their overall thoughts of my final postcard design. 


I asked the following Questions:

- How effective do you think the back cover of my Postcard is & why?

After receiving the feedback, I realised that I had effective points about my postcard which was good to hear as it was positive. After receiving the feedback, I realised that I had effective points about my postcard which was good to hear as it was positive. I asked two classmates as I felt that as they have viewed my film in detail then they would have the knowledge to give me detailed feedback.


Both students were also given a preview of my postcard which enabled them to get a better understanding of what comments to give.


From receiving this feedback, I realised that there are parts that I could have improved and things that I could have included, however overall the designs were very positive and looked very professional.
